Privacy Policy

Effective date: January 12, 2026

Last updated: January 12, 2026

1) Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how SmallShiftParenting.com (the “Site”) collects, uses, and shares information.

The Site is operated by Roman Kotyk, an individual entrepreneur (FOP) in Ukraine, using the trade name SmallShift Parenting.

This policy covers information collected:

  • when you visit or use the Site

  • when you purchase our digital products through links from the Site, where checkout may be processed by PayPro Global and, in some cases, Paddle (as shown on your receipt).

2) How to Contact Us

If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or want to contact us about privacy, email: hello@smallshiftparenting.com

3) Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

A. Information from purchases

If you purchase a product through links from our Site, checkout and payment processing are handled by a third-party provider (for example, PayPro Global and, in some cases, Paddle, as shown on your receipt). We receive limited order-related information needed for customer support and recordkeeping.

We may receive order-related information such as your name (if provided), email address, product purchased, purchase date, and transaction identifiers needed for customer support and recordkeeping.

We do not receive your full payment card number. Payment details are handled by the checkout provider and its payment partners. The checkout provider processes personal data under its own privacy policy.

We may also export order-related information from third party for recordkeeping, customer support, and business operations. Access to those exports is limited to us.

B. Information you send to us
If you email us (for example, for support), we will receive your email address and the contents of your message.

C. Information collected automatically on the Site
When you visit the Site, some information may be collected automatically, such as your device type, browser type, IP address, pages viewed, and timestamps. This information is commonly collected through cookies, pixels, and similar technologies.

We may also receive certain event data through server-side tracking used for advertising measurement (see “Tracking Technologies and Advertising” below).

4) How We Use Information

We use information for purposes such as:

  • providing and delivering our products and responding to support requests
  • maintaining the Site, troubleshooting issues, and improving performance
  • preventing fraud, abuse, and unauthorized use
  • understanding how people use the Site and measuring marketing performance (for example through the Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API)
  • keeping business records and complying with legal obligations

5) Tracking Technologies and Advertising

We use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to operate the Site and understand how it is used.

Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API (CAPI): We use the Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API on certain pages to measure the effectiveness of advertising and understand actions people take after visiting the Site. The Pixel uses browser-based cookies. CAPI allows us to send certain events from our server or from a service provider to Meta. Data shared may include event information (such as page views or purchases), technical data (such as IP address and user agent), and identifiers such as cookie values (_fbp and _fbc) and, where applicable, hashed contact information. Meta may use this information in accordance with its own policies.

Other tools: We may add other analytics, tag management, or advertising tools in the future. If we do, we will update this Privacy Policy to reflect the tools we use.

Cookie notice: We do not display a cookie banner at this time. Where required by law, we may implement a cookie notice or consent mechanism.

Your choices:

  • Browser controls: You can usually control cookies through your browser settings (for example, blocking or deleting cookies). Some parts of the Site may not work properly if cookies are disabled.
  • Meta ad preferences: You can control how Meta shows you ads through your Meta account settings and ad preferences.
  • Emails: We do not send marketing emails. We may send transactional emails related to purchases or support. If you email us for support, we will reply only to address your request.

Do Not Track: Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” feature. Because there is no consistent industry standard for responding to these signals, we do not respond to Do Not Track signals in a specific way.

6) How We Share Information

We may share information in the following situations:

Service providers
We share information with service providers who help us operate the Site and deliver products, such as:

  • Hosting provider: Hostinger
  • E-commerce and delivery platform: PayPro Global and, in some cases, Paddle (and their payment partners) (as shown on your receipt).
  • Advertising measurement: Meta (through the Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API).

These providers may process information under their own privacy policies and practices in some cases.

Legal and safety reasons
We may disclose information if we believe it is reasonably necessary to comply with law, enforce our Terms and Conditions, protect our rights, prevent fraud, or protect users.

Business transfers
If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

7) International Data Transfers

We operate from Ukraine. Your information may be processed in Ukraine and in other countries where our service providers operate (for example where Hostinger or Meta maintain infrastructure). Data protection laws may differ by location.

8) Data Retention

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to object to certain processing. To make a request, contact us at hello@smallshiftparenting.com. Please note that order records may also be held by the checkout provider shown on your receipt under its own policies.

We generally keep purchase and support records for up to 3 years for business operations and recordkeeping, unless a longer retention period is required by law.

Service providers may keep certain information for different periods under their own retention practices (for example technical logs and advertising data).

9) Data Security

We take reasonable steps to protect information. However, no website or online service can be 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10) Children’s Privacy

The Site and products are not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information to us, please contact us at hello@smallshiftparenting.com and we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

11) Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of the policy.

Changes apply from the date they are posted on the Site.
